Where can you use pink in interior design you ask?? Well, almost anywhere! It can add a fun and warming statement in an entryway, a complimentary undertone in a walk in closet, a soft and creative look to a kitchen, a bit of playfulness in the dining room, a nice alternative to a neutral feel in the bedroom, something charismatic in the bathroom, or a pop of color that adds a delicate feel or something eye catching to any room.
Traveling can inspire us in many different ways.... seeing things from a different perspective, getting outside comfort zones, overcoming and achieving things you weren't sure you could, and having your mind blown by landscapes, architecture and culture you have never seen anything like before.

Nature never fails to send us some incredible colors to be inspired by. Similar to the Flamingo, Roseate Spoonbill's get there beautiful pink coloration from the foods they eat. Crustaceans and other aquatic invertebrates contain pigments called carotenoids that help turn their feathers pink.
We are seeing more pink rolling into the interior design world this year so it seems only fitting that we would pick this playful and lighthearted color to do our color study on this round.

@SherwinWilliams June color of the month is in! Check out Basque Green SW 6426. It’s a rich and earthy, almost tropical green that is as calming as it vibrant. We are digging it in a multitude of places.
